The weekly challenge on the My Memories blog is Hats Off. When I read the post, I immediately thought of the pictures Paul took of me wearing his new cap at the fair. Here's my submission:
I love the challenges! They're so fun and motivational! I used the Love My Guy kit. (I can't remember the designer right now, but it's available in the MMS shop.) I didn't even look at the embellishments before I did the rest of the layout. As soon as I saw the button, I knew it was the perfect addition to my page.
The main purpose of this blog is to serve as an outlet to share my digital scrapbooking layouts with others and not bore all my friends on Facebook to death with them. Of course, I'm sure I'll be including plenty of other things in my life. I just began using My Memories Suite 2.0. If you're interested in purchasing this great software, you can save $10 on the purchase price by using coupon code STMMMS24479 at www.mymemories.com

My Black & White Photograph Challenge Entry
In today's newsletter from oscraps.com, there was a link for a coupon code to get Designs by Sue Cummings' Simply Quick #37, a black and white quick page. It also described the Black & White Photograph Challenge. I thought, "Why not?" I know I won't win anything, I just wanted to participate. When I started to think about it, wedding pictures immediately came to mind. Here's my very first digital scrapbooking challenge entry:
After I uploaded, I looked at a few of the other entries. Some took advantage of all the rules, adding other Designs by Sue Cummings embellishments. Others, like me, simply used the quick page as is. Some even covered parts of the existing page, making it a little more their own. I'm proud of my page, not to mention happy that I finally found a challenge I felt I could enter! :)
